Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), which is a concentration of platelets in a small volume of plasma, contained wide suspension of growth factors and nutrients. PRP stimulates peripheral growth and stem cells to differentiate, to regenerate, and to create collagen and elastic fiber.

It is a new form of regenerative medicine that utilizes your own blood, where the platelet rich plasma component is extracted, concentrated and reintroduced to rejuvenate the skin.

As it is derived from your own blood to rejuvenate your own cells, there is no risk of rejection. It is also recommended for treating:

During Treatment

After your face is cleansed, numb cream will be applied for 30-45 minutes. At this time, we will take 30cc of your venous blood and extract to become PRP. During injection, you will feel mild discomfort but it is tolerable especially after numb cream. There may be mild swelling or redness on injection site which will subside in a few minutes to few hours. Make up may be applied immediately post injection. You can see immediate lifting result after the injection. Skin healing takes place and over 4-6 weeks, your skin will appear more glowing, tightening, scar reduced with less pigments and wrinkles.

Post Treatment

Usually there is almost no recovery time, you can return to work immediately after procedure. There might be mild bruise, redness, swellings which will subside within 2-7 days.

Usually you will be given follow up appointment at 3 months after the initial session. Regular PRP at 3 months interval is recommended for maintenance.
